Day one of Pre-Op

Yesterday was a really funny day.  Unlike most Americans, my diet is not a liquid diet.  I have to eat the same thing every day.

This looks like a lot of food, but really it isn't.  I will post a picture of each of my meals later.  So I am unable to deviate from this list, so for example, my oatmeal is just that oatmeal.  No sugar, no milk... plain oatmeal!! GROSS!! So I eat that as quickly as possible and almost plug my nose.

Most of yesterday, I spent at the hospital getting my pre- op.  I met with my anesthetist, nurse and had a whole wack of tests done.  I had blood work, EKG, chest x-ray, vitals, and a whole lot of waiting.  I arrived at the hospital at 10:30, and finally got home around 5:30.  I was so tired.

I tried to manage my food around my day, and it was sure hard.  I also drank my water throughout the day, and by the time I got home, I was sick of it.  My urine was completely clear.... Too much water?

Anyhow, I survived day one, and by the end I facing a lot of head hunger, and really wanted salt.  So I had 4 extra tomatoes with a little salt and pepper, in lieu of 1/2 of my glucerna.  I added 4 extra tomatoes for tomorrow, as I really enjoyed them, and gave me something else to look forward to without going too over in my carbs.

When I was weighed at the hospital, I was apparently 298lbs, WTF!, I was shocked.  I did however food funeral it the night before, had nachos, and other bad crap that tasted soooo good.  I weighed myself today (October 18th-day 2 or pre-op), and I am down to 290.2lbs, I can handle that haha!  Hopefully I can get down to 280lbs by my surgery.

In addition to this, I am still trying to reach my 100KM goal.  As of yesterday I am up to 38KM for October, so I have a plan to reach my goal by the day of my surgery.

Wednesday October 16th 5   KM
Thursday October 17th 10 KM
Friday October 18th 5   KM
Saturday October 19th 8   KM
Sunday October 20th 8   KM
Monday October 21st 3   KM
Tuesday October 22nd 3   KM
Wednesday October 23rd 3   KM
Thursday October 24th 3   KM
Friday October 25th 3   KM
Saturday October 26th 3   KM
Sunday October 27th 8   KM
Monday October 28th 3   KM
Tuesday October 29th 3   KM
Wednesday October 30th  8   KM
I didn't get 10Km yesterday, only 6, so I have to make up 4 KM  somewhere, probably on the 3 KM days.

Until next time! Cheers~ I have nothing left to update
